Fishy economics

I just don't get it. You have to raise chickens, pigs, and cows, and they cost some money, I guess. Whereas fish are being taken care by the ocean. Fish get big by themselves. So, how come fish costs more than meat? Does a fisherman get paid more than a farmer? Is it something to do with the demand and supply curve?

Whatever the economic reason behind it, I am a fisherman, so I get my own fish by myself.

I went out in the afternoon to get some fish to eat, and it was a good day to chase some fish. I got some small tailors and hooked up 8 or 9 herring. At the end I kept a few herring and gave away a fishy head or two for pelicans to make them happy too.
