Will a bamboo rod get hit by lightning?

Well , if it can put me off fishing, the weather has to be really bad.

We were getting hit by stormy weather last two days, and the weekend looked to be the same. Although I would fell bit safer to flick around a bamboo rod in the lightning storm than walking around with a 9 feet high modulus carbon electric conductor, it is smart to assume that you can still get zapped by lighting regardless of the rod I would be using.

So, I have decided to stay indoor this weekend, and I am uploading pictures of the last week's catch instead.

It is very well camouflaged against sandy bottom.
